Basketball Officiating Camps

There are some great teaching camps offered here in the state of Michigan.  Check the links below and settle on one that fits you best.  Two if you have the time and the drive.  Study the details about what each camp has to offer.  Register for yourself, and talk it up among your fellow officials.  Encourage others to join you in an experience which will benefit you richly well into the coming season!

July 13 (Wednesday) – MHSAA Boys’ Reaching Higher Camp

July 25 (Monday) – MHSAA Girls’ Reaching Higher Camp
As of this time, both Reaching Higher camps seem to be, as they’ve been in the past, “By Invitation of the MHSAA Only.”  Local association trainers or leaders have presumably been contacted by the MHSAA to solicit names of candidates that possess the criteria the state is looking for to attend.  If/when the MHSAA does not receive enough registrations from those officials invited, they may, as they have in the past, open registration up to all high school officials in the state.  Officials should await an invitation from the MHSAA to register or keep an eye on the left column of the Officials page of the MHSAA website (http://www.mhsaa.com/officials) if it gets posted publicly.  Only three-person mechanics.
