    Responsibilities

  • Work with the President to arrange Board meetings and the annual Election Meeting
  • Work with the Program Chair(s) and/or Registrars to arrange the regular meetings of the Association
  • Arrange to have all WMOA members notified of regular or emergency meetings, incl. dates, times and locations. Also send other announcements (via email or other means) to the membership, as needed.
  • Record and maintain minutes of Board meetings and the annual Election Meeting
  • Work with the Treasurer in collecting and depositing member dues
  • Assist the Registrars in the recruitment of new members
  • Receive and record annual registration forms and payments. Maintain and continually update membership records for the WMOA.
  • Maintain and continually update membership and “member-in-good-standing” (MIGS) records for the MHSAA
  • Receive and review general correspondence, and provide to the Board as needed.
  • Serve as primary contact person for MHSAA correspondence (incl. completing annual renewal forms for MHSAA, financial audit information, descriptions of training the WMOA conducts, etc.)
  • Attend and participate in WMOA Board meetings as a voting member
