Key Qualities
- Set dates for, plan and conduct/facilitate rules-mechanics meetings per MHSAA and WMOA policy. Includes putting together and researching topics for discussion at those meetings.
- Be responsible for all necessary equipment that belongs to the association and/or the facility where meetings are held
- Communicate pertinent information to the football membership from the MHSAA and various leagues (such as the OK Conference)
- Track and record attendance at rules-mechanics meetings, and communicate this information to the WMOA Secretary
- Help with and/or oversee the development of new and less-experienced football officials within the WMOA (to be accomplished via planning and conducting rookie meetings prior to the regular WMOA football rule meetings)
- Be available to attend any required meetings by the MHSAA, and be willing to attend any clinics that will help enhance/develop his own ability to officiate and his efforts to promote the ongoing development of all WMOA football officials
- Sit on and/or chair the planning committee for the annual WMOA football clinic
- Appoint committees and committee members, as needed, within the football officials membership
- Attend and participate in WMOA Board meetings as a voting member
