The West Michigan Officials Association lost one of our own; Jeff Bart passed away on Friday, July 25. Jeff lost his fight with non-hodgkins
lymphoma. Whether it was wearing blue and umpiring or stripes and doing football, Jeff enjoyed working games for the right reason. He will be missed.   LINK

Register Now for the 2008-2009 Season!  Forms are available on the Membership Info Page and Online Membership Registration is now available for the WMOA.  This involves emailing Dan VandenBosch your membership form and paying with a credit card or bank transfer through Paypal.  Use the link at the left to go to the registration page for more details.

Congratulations to our Dan Nameth Scholarship Winners for 2008: 

Kim VandenAkker (GR Christian) in Girls' Basketball, Cam White (Forest Hills Central) in Football, and Miles Martinus (Forest Hills Eastern) in Boys' Basketball.  The will each receive $1000 scholarships toward their college education thanks to the generosity of Joe Nameth and his wife who doubled the amount of the offered scholarship!
