The following criteria have been established by the MHSAA as the
minimum requirements for membership in good standing of an Approved Association.
 | Payment of appropriate dues (currently $40 ($50 after the deadline)
annually) |
 | Attendance of at least 50% at the WMOA regularly scheduled meetings for
the specific sport you wish to be approved in (This means in order to be on the "good
standing" list for girls' basketball, boys' basketball, or football you need to
attend 3/5 meetings for each sport, however, if you attend 3/5 and 2/5 in the two
basketball seasons respectively you will be considered in "good standing" for
both seasons.) |
 | Participate in training programs offered by the WMOA |
Each year the association will submit a list of members in "good
standing" to the MHSAA for each sport that we sponsor, only those members on the list
will be considered for tournament assignments in that respective sport. The list may
later be amended by the association if necessary.
