WMOA President Key Qualities: - Communication skills (oral and written) - Organization skills - Planning skills - Ability to professionally
interact with others - Ability to make decisions based on the needs of the membership - Good facilitator (meetings) Responsibilities: - Schedule, organize and preside at all WMOA business and Board meetings - Appoint all standing and special committees - Chair the Grievance Committee (if one is established) - Assist various committees with their responsibilities, as needed - Attend MHSAA required meetings for approved associations, or designate Board member to attend - Respond to outside inquiries or correspondence, or delegate someone to respond as appropriate - Attend and participate in WMOA Board meetings as a voting member |
